🕹️ Hori Flex Controller

The Hori Flex Controller is an adaptive gaming controller designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch, offering players with limited mobility a way to enjoy their favorite games on the platform.
What It Is
The Flex Controller acts as a customizable hub, similar to the Xbox Adaptive Controller, and features a large main controller unit with 3.5mm input ports for external switches and joysticks. Players can connect a wide range of compatible switches to replace standard controller inputs like A, B, X, Y, shoulder buttons, and more.
Key Features
- Compatible with Nintendo Switch — one of the few accessible options for this console.
- Multiple 3.5mm input jacks for external switches and joysticks
- Large, easy-to-use form factor for improved accessibility.
- Designed for plug-and-play setup, so you can start gaming with minimal configuration.
Why It Matters
For gamers who want to play on Nintendo Switch but struggle with standard Joy-Cons or Pro Controllers, the Hori Flex offers an important alternative. It opens up new possibilities for accessible gaming on a platform that has traditionally had fewer adaptive controller options.
While I haven’t personally used the Flex Controller yet, I wanted to include it here so visitors know it’s an option worth exploring, especially for those focused on Nintendo games.
Alternative ways to play Switch
Just a reminder, you can use the Xbox Adaptive Controller with the Nintendo Switch, by using an adapter like the Mayflash Magic-S Ultimate. This is what I’ve used in the past and may be the better choice if you play Xbox/PC and Switch, so you don’t have to move your switch/joysticks from one hub to another.
